Objectives & Activities

The R&D Cell at RRSIMT is established to promote research, development, and industry-academia collaboration. The following schemes and activities are undertaken:

  • Establishment of the Research & Development Cell.
  • Organizing workshops, conferences, and symposia with participation from faculty and industry.
  • Inviting engineers from industry to deliver lectures at the Institute.
  • Participation of industry experts in curriculum development.
  • Arranging faculty visits to various industries for study, discussions, and project guidance.
  • Industrial testing by faculty and technicians at site or in the laboratory.
  • Joint research programs and field studies with industry professionals.
  • Industry executives visiting the Institute for research discussions and lectures on trends and practices.
  • MOUs between the Institute and industries for closer collaboration.
  • B.Tech. and MBA projects/dissertations guided jointly by faculty and industry experts.
  • Short-term assignments for faculty members in industries.
  • Visiting faculty/professors from industries.
  • Practical training of students in industries.
