Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering Department of Rajarshi Rananjay Sinh Institute of Management & Technology (RRSIMT), Amethi plays a vital role in imparting quality technical education and developing competent civil engineers. The department offers the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program in Civil Engineering, affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

The curriculum is designed as per AKTU guidelines and focuses on a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. Emphasis is laid on core subjects such as Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Surveying. The department is supported by well-equipped laboratories, including Strength of Materials, Concrete Technology, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Surveying laboratories, which enhance hands-on learning.

The department has a team of qualified and experienced faculty members who are dedicated to academic excellence, research orientation, and overall student development. Regular industrial visits, site visits, workshops, seminars, and guest lectures are organized to provide industry exposure and practical insight.
